UAT Test

  • What it UAT(User Acceptance Testing) ?
    - This is the final test step to ensure that the affiliate system is ready for use in the production environment.
At this stage, KONA PLATE's members will test the API approved for the project, and the KONA PLATE team will check the UAT test results.
  • What is a UAT Report ?
    - When UAT confirms that all API tests are functioning normally, a UAT report is generated.
    - Based on the UAT report, the KONA PLATE team's approval allows the service to be opened.
  • Ready to Launch Service
    - If all API tests have passed in the UAT test, contact KONA PLATE team for service launch with the generated UAT pass report.
    - Based on the report, the KONA PLATE team will check the results of the UAT test to help launch the service.

(1) UAT Test Request

  • Request UAT test
    - If you have completed the API test through the sandbox key or SI key provided by KONA PLATE, you can proceed with the UAT test
    - UAT tests can be requested on the UAT list page.
    - If the KONA PLATE team approves the member's UAT request, we will send you an approval email containing the UAT server key.
    - Members can proceed with UAT using UAT server key information, and UAT server key information can also be found on the credentials page.
  • UAT in progress, Request another UAT Test
    - If there is a User Acceptance Testing (UAT) already in progress, you cannot request a UAT and you must request an ongoing UAT after
    exiting.
    - If User Acceptance Testing (UAT) is in progress, you cannot generate or delete keys for a project, and you cannot request additional or deletion of APIs.
    - To create or delete additional project keys or APIs, exit the ongoing UAT.

(2) UAT Test

  • UAT Test
    - UAT server key information for UAT testing can be found on the credentials page or in the UAT approval mail.
    - If you set the UAT server key information in the header value and generate an API transaction, you can view the test result value of the API on the UAT list page.
However, it is only possible when the UAT is in progress.
    - UAT progress is stored on the KONA PLATE server, and members can check the UAT progress and results on the UAT list page or UAT report- For accurate API testing, refer to UAT details and reports, and recommend several UAT tests.
  • UAT Test Pass Conditions
    - When all the results of the tested API pass, the UAT in progress ends in pass state.
    - If at least one failed API test exists, the UAT test is not terminated.
    - If an error occurs in a passed API during UAT, the API is considered to be passed.
  • UAT Test Passed
    - If all APIs in the project have passed UAT, UAT is terminated and the service can be opened.
Contact KONA PLATE team for consulting and help to open the service.
    - If you added an API after the service was released, you must request UAT again and pass the added API test.
The UAT server key information is the same as the existing UAT server key. Contact KONA PLATE team to add an API.

(3) UAT Test Details

  • UAT Details Page
    - On the UAT List page, you can view the User Acceptance Testing (UAT) that is in progress or has ended.
    - If you click on a specific UAT test, you can view the details of that UAT.
    - The UAT details page allows you to download API test status and UAT test report by UAT.
  • UAT Test Report
    - If you click on the UAT listing page, the report of the UAT test you have proceeded will be provided as a PDF file.
    - The test report provides more detailed pass and fail information than the UAT Details page.
    - If the API test continues to fail, refer to the detailed reason for the error in the report.
    - If all API tests pass and UAT passes, a UAT pass report is generated.
    - Contact KONAPLATE team to launch the service with the UAT Pass Report!
